We are really jazzed about the new national Career Pathways brochure that we designed for Seattle Jobs Initiative (SJI).
The 40+ page piece was heavy on content -- but broken up by smart information design and gorgeous full-bleed photography.

This project really highlights how important it often is to have access to original photos. We feel that stock photography often looks generic - yet many organizations rely heavily on plucking images from a small “community pool.” Coordinating a custom photo shoot provides a library of images unique to your brand for consistent use throughout all of your marketing communications materials.
Seattle Jobs Initiative is releasing this report to policymakers (and gurus) across the U.S.of.A!
I am joining TRAC Associates as a job developer in a week. I am looking forward to perusing a copy of this report to glean a smuch information as possible. As a career coach I am also interested in what I can pass along to my clients.
ReplyDeleteThe career journey has changed greatly even in the past year or so. There is a much greater emphasis on taking control of your career vs relying on an employer to handle your advancement. I advocate a "self-employed mindset" for all my clients (including myself). When you treat an employer as a client there is a major shift in attitude around job performance. And the focus beocmes increasing your own value so you can attract more and better clients in the future.
When you recognize that your future is in your own hands your attention is bound to increase. It is definitely win-win.
